Fall Family Photos at Ragle Ranch Regional Park – Sebastopol, CA

This family session at Ragle Ranch Regional Park in Sebastopol was an absolutely perfect day. I dream of golden hour lighting and fun photo sessions. Sonoma County delivered the most amazing fall day. It was so warm, the perfect lighting and just the best atmosphere for these family photos.

Ragle Ranch is one of my go to locations for family photos in Sonoma County because it has so much variety in a compact, easy space: tall trees, open fields, and tons of natural texture. Whether I’m photographing families, engagements, or portraits, the park always gives me something beautiful to work with.

This family came ready to have fun, and it shows in every shot. Their little girl ran around laughing and exploring, playing with all the leaves, and showing off her stuffed animal. This felt more like hanging out in the park than anything formal, which is exactly the kind of vibe I aim for in my sessions.

The fall colors were especially gorgeous during this shoot and gave me Gilmore Girls Stars Hollow vibes. If you know me, that is my guilty pleasure comfort show that I watch all the time which probably caused my need for fun fall photos like this. Between the warm tones, the soft light, and the casual, cozy outfits, everything came together easily and photographed beautifully. It’s one of the reasons I love shooting family sessions in Sebastopol. The area has a way of looking effortlessly photogenic, especially this time of year.
